Sorry to hear that, Charlie. Sounds very frustrating! They've been taking client orders for about a week so hopefully you'll start to see more Cat 3 assignments soon.

I joined and got a 3 star rating .. As it was new there weren't many jobs but I grabbed one and got an excellent rating from the client. For a couple of days I refreshed the browser and there were no category 3 jobs only cat 4 so I emailed them to ask them to reconsider my rating as it was also obvious from their perspective that there weren't enough writers to fulfil that cat 4 jobs that were being posted. I got upgraded and did a couple of cat 4 jobs only to have those marked down to a cat 3 (use of commas apparently) ...Now I'm back as a cat 3 writer but can't move from that as there are never any cat 3 jobs available but lots of cat 4, many of which have been sitting there for days. I've just checked the site and at the moment there are 20 cat 4 jobs and nothing else

Hi Denis, I put in a support ticket because I couldn't view the assignment board and it turns out they've been accepting new writer applications so far but the job board isn't open yet. It looks like Texbroker UK will start taking client orders on Dec 12, 2011 and then I'm guessing the assignment board will open up to approved writers.

Hi Air Controller...
I, personally, have never done a transfer into paypal but have had clients pay me by e-cheque from the UK and US. UK takes about 2 weeks, typically, but US is usually 3-5 business days. I'll post this question on Twitter to see if anyone has experience.

My question is the opposite. I need to get money INTO my PayPal account in order for me to make a US purchase in time for Christmas. I bank with Scotia, and was wondering how long it will take to reach PayPal. I transferred the funds on Wednesday 7 Dec.
